Presidential Candidate Ron Paul discusses Christianity

Being a veteran of these wars, and a follower of Christ, I find it refreshing to have a Christian voice in politics that is consistent while going against the mainstream. Many politicians claim to be Christian; however, Christianity is often used as a tool for political gain. Simply stating that you are a Christian does not mean you actually are. Ron Paul truly is.

Ron Paul's background in politics begins in the 1970's. He became interested in politics mainly because of former president Richard Nixon taking America completely off of the Gold Standard. Paul was a flight surgeon in the US Air Force, then later delivered babies in South Texas. Always a staunch conservative, Paul became extremely concerned with what was happening to America.

He is a man of conviction and believes that prosperity comes from limited government and personal responsibility. He is a kind, humble man. He also loves the Lord and is a great example for all Americans.
